His earlier experience included managerial and executive positions within Land & Marine Engineering Limited; The Royal Boskalis Westminster Group and The Littlewoods Organisation. His consultancy career started when in 1990 he was appointed the UK Director for a USA executive search firm serving a niche oil and gas sector where he developed a client base which included the exploration and production companies concentrating their activities on the UK continental shelf and on those operating within the emerging economies in Eastern Europe and the CIS. He subsequently moved
to an established British executive search and selection practice to extend
their expertise into the wider energy sector and to complement their existing
client base in consumer goods, manufacturing, commodities trading, engineering
