Tony spent 25 years in publishing where he was closely involved with the international production, trading and distribution of ferrous and non-ferrous raw materials and products.

In 1990 he established himself as an independent executive search consultant and in 1997 founded C N Consultancy. Tony leads and manages recruitment in a wide range of sectors and disciplines.

Tony now specializes in recruitment for the international commodity trading sector, working in oil and energy, ferrous and non-ferrous raw materials and products, grains and soft commodities. He recruits for a broad range of disciplines including CEOs, CFOs, head traders, traders, trading teams, support teams, charterers, shipping experts and senior IT staff working in this sector. His work also extends to identifying and evaluating entire businesses leading to acquisition by clients. By the nature of this sector, most of his clients are based outside the UK.

Peter Nielsen, specialising in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, metals, banking and finance

After qualifying as mechanical engineer, Peter became an HR specialist as Divisional Personnel Manager in the Delta Metal Group and subsequently, Group Personnel Director of ARA Services, a leading international service provider to manufacturing industry and North Sea oil producers.

He successfully lead the employers' national negotiations with the NUS and TGWU which in 1979 threatened to stop production of North Sea oil. After 1980 he worked in Executive Search with MDK and Grosvenor International specialising in pharmaceutical, aerospace, metals, banking and finance sectors, until forming C N Consultancy in 1998. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Andrew Scott-Priestley, specialising in energy, engineering, international HR consultancy

Andrew Scott-Priestley has over 30 years experience in personnel and human resource management gained in a variety of industrial sectors. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and a Member of the Institute of Petroleum.

Currently, he specialises in the provision of outsourced human resource services to small and medium sized enterprises (SME), a niche market which he identified several years ago as small organisations struggle to contend with the plethora of changes to employment legislation, especially since 1997. This role demands a close and trusted working relationship with his clients so that he can make an effective contribution to the development of the business. He also continues to act as an international executive search consultant; the appointment of lawyers is a key specialisation.

Prior to commencing his career as a specialist consultant, Andrew Scott-Priestley spent six years as Personnel Manager for the UK subsidiary of the Amerada Hess Corporation where his responsibility covered both United Kingdom and international activities. His earlier experience included managerial and executive positions within Land & Marine Engineering Limited; The Royal Boskalis Westminster Group and The Littlewoods Organisation.

His consultancy career started when in 1990 he was appointed the UK Director for a USA executive search firm serving a niche oil and gas sector where he developed a client base which included the exploration and production companies concentrating their activities on the UK continental shelf and on those operating within the emerging economies in Eastern Europe and the CIS.

He subsequently moved to an established British executive search and selection practice to extend their expertise into the wider energy sector and to complement their existing client base in consumer goods, manufacturing, commodities trading, engineering and construction, information technology. He was able to further extend his capabilities to include management consultancy, pharmaceuticals, trade associations and the professions across a wide variety of functions ranging from top executive positions through to senior professional and technical specialisations.



Alessandro Ferullo
ALESSANDRO FERULLO specialising in international commodity trading, finance etc

Alessandro was educated at St.Edmund's College, Hertfordshire and graduated from Keele University in French and German.

He started his career in publishing at Metal Bulletin and later moved to Cargo Systems. Thereafter, he became an Export Manager and gained extensive European and Far East experience in the textiles industry.

He is an excellent communicator and takes an interest in different cultures and languages. He is married with three children and lives in London. Alessandro is bilingual in English and Italian and speaks fluent French and German.



Robin Reid

ROBIN REID, Swiss Regional Representative, specialising in international commodity production, trading, banking, finance etc

Robin was educated at Stonyhurst and graduated from Loughborough University in Business Administration and French. He joined Metal Bulletin and later established his own pan European print marketing business.

Robin acted as Export Sales Director for Omnicrom Systems Ltd, establishing a worldwide distribution network and living for some time in USA. In 1988 he became involved in financial disciplines in the engineering sector and held a number of directorships.

Robin is an Anglo-Swiss national, his mother is Genevese and he has family living in and around Geneva. He is married with three children and lives with his family close to Lausanne. Robin is bilingual in French and English and speaks fluent Portuguese. In addition to his business development and client liaison role in Switzerland, Robin is a part-time lecturer in Human Resources at the European University in Geneva and Montreux.
